David Letterman Fans Dumpster Dive Outside His Studio - See What They Found!

Thanks for 20+ years of classic memories, Dave! Now get the f**k out.

That seems to be the message that CBS sent the offices of The Late Show with David Letterman based on the activity outside of his studio. Er, Stephen Colbert’s studio.

Before a final tear could even be shed after his final episode Wednesday night, workers began demolishing Dave’s set.

However, the apparent lack of sentimentality was great news for Letterman fans, particularly ones who enjoy diving into rat-infested dumpsters to collect their souvenirs.

Not every relic of the set was trashed. Dave’s desk was reportedly taken to the Smithsonian in Washington, DC and the replica of the George Washington Bridge was loaded up into a van… albeit an unmarked one.
